Our Past
Harry Balliet, original owner of Medicap Pharmacy in Sunbury, went to school at Temple University School of Pharmacy. After working for retail chain Rea & Derick for more than twenty years, Harry knew that he could be doing more for people. Knowing that, he and his wife Linda opened Medicap Pharmacy in May 1999. They offered personalized service that customers could feel good about. At the time, to-be pharmacist Matt Balliet was studying at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science hoping to follow in his father's footsteps.
Matt went on to join his parents at Medicap in 2015. In 2019, after living under the Medicap franchise name for twenty years, they changed their name to Balliet's Family Pharmacy. Today, Matt and his mother Linda are proud to call the pharmacy their own.
